Bilateral Upper and Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty
This patient had bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty which required removal of a small amount of skin and fat from the upper eyelids. To address the lower eyelid fullness, a transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty with lid tightening and pinch skin excision was performed. In this technique, fat is removed from the inside of the eyelid which to allow improvement in the fullness and shadows due to the lower eyelid “bags”. She now has a more alert and youthful appearance.
